Shock absorber
Shock absorber (the Absorber), shock absorbers are mainly used to inhibit spring rebound shock after shock absorption and shock from the pavement. When in an uneven road, while the shock-absorbing springs can filter vibration on the road, but the spring itself there will be a reciprocating motion, shock absorbers are used to discourage jumping spring. Shock absorbers were too soft, the body would be jumping up and down, shock absorbers too hard it would bring too much resistance, prevent the spring works. In the suspension system in the conversion process, hard hard spring and shock absorbers to match, and the hardness of the spring is closely related to vehicle weight, heavier cars generally use a hard shock absorber. Shock and crank device, used to counteract crankshaft torsional vibration (impact ignition cylinder and rotating the crankshaft).

Use of shock absorbers
To accelerate the frame and body vibration attenuation, to improve vehicle ride comfort (comfort), in most automobile suspension system with shock absorbers.
Classification of shock absorber
Shock absorber damping material of the hydraulic and pneumatic two main point of Division, there is also a variable damping shock absorber. Single cylinder and double cylinder both in terms of structure. Now commonly used shock absorbers:
1. single-tube gas-pressurized shock absorbers;
2. twin-tube hydraulic shock absorber;
3. double-tube gas shock absorbers.
